<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly detect the plugged state of a filter means by a single pressure detecting means by detecting the first pressure value when an ignition key is put in a closed state at the time of starting an internal combustion engine, and detecting the second pressure value when the internal combustion engine is rotated. SOLUTION: At the time of starting an internal combustion engine 102, an ignition key 128 is put in a closed state, that is, when the internal combustion engine 102 is not rotated, a pressure detecting means 120 detects the pressure of an exhaust passage 106. The detection value of this pressure detecting means 120 is detected as the first pressure value and stored in a first storage means 124. The detection value of the pressure detecting means 120 at the time of the ignition key 128 being held in the closed state and the internal combustion engine being rotated is detected as the second pressure value. A detection signal from the pressure detecting means 120 is sent to a control processing means 122, and the second pressure value is stored in a second storage means 126. The particulate collecting quantity in a filter means 108 can thereby be estimated.</p> |
