<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve detecting accuracy with low cost by detecting displacements in x and y directions by an earthquake wave according to a pair of detection signals of paired electrodes formed of piezoelectric elements opposed along a centerline of a metal disc, and detecting a displacement in a z direction according to a detection signal of at least one piezoelectric element. SOLUTION: When an earthquake occurs, an exciting weight is vibrated, a central part of a metal disc 11 is pressed by a pressure corresponding to the vibration, vertically moved, and a displacement occurs at the disc 11. Piezoelectric elements 12a to 12d fixed to the disc 11 are displaced to generate voltages corresponding to the displacements, which are input to a processor of a printed board via electrodes 14 and leads 15. The processor compares to calculate detection signals of paired electrodes of the elements 12a and 12c, detects a displacement in an x direction, compares to calculate the detection signals of the paired electrodes of the elements 12b and 12d, and detects a displacement in a y direction. The individual signals of the elements 12a to 12d are individually processed in the processor, and a displacement in a z direction is detected.</p> |
