<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the device small-sized on the whole and speed up data processing, and further obtain fast response for data update by mounting an extension I/O interface and an I/O unit which is connected through a connector. SOLUTION: Control data generated by a control circuit 6 after being stored temporarily in an I/O control memory 8 are outputted to a controlled system 19 through the I/O unit 3 under the control of the extended I/O interface 9. Consequently, the operation of the controlled system 19 is controlled. Further, state data obtained from the controlled system 19 are inputted to a device main body 2 through the I/O unit 3 and supplied to the control circuit 6 under the control of the I/O interface 9. Then the control circuit 6 performs necessary arithmetic processing for the state data to generate display control data. The display control data are stored temporarily in a display control memory 7 and then supplied to a display unit 4.</p> |
