PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To configure the optical communication module that transfers signals by using lights with different wavelengths with a small size at a low cost. SOLUTION: The optical communication module is provided with a transmission reception common port 2 for a light L1 for a long wavelength band and lights L2A, L2B for the short wavelength band, an output port 3 for the light L1, a light receiving section 4 for the light L2A and a light emitting section 5 for the light L2B. The angle θ (11) of incident light of a wavelength separation filter 11 separating the lights L1 and L2A from the common port 2 is selected to be smaller than 45 deg. and the angle θ (12) of incident light of a beam splitter 12 is selected to be smaller than 45 deg. through the arrangement of the filter 11 and the splitter 12. Through the arrangement above, a thin and flat inexpensive optical element is adopted for optical elements for the module. As a result, the module is manufactured at a low cost with miniaturization. |
