PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heat liquid in a flow passage including a discharging port partitioned by a movable member by a method wherein a heating means is provided with the movable member, displaced between a first position and a second position, more distant from bubble generating area than the first position. SOLUTION: A movable member 31 is displaced from a first position to a second position so as to guide the propagating direction of pressure of bubbles into the direction of a discharging port by a pressure based on the generation of bubbles. In this case, it is important that the free end of the movable member 31 is arranged at the side of downstream and a supporting point is arranged so as to be positioned at the side of upstream while at least one part of the movable member 31 is opposed to the downstream part of a heat generating body. Further, the function of a heat generating body 63 for regulating temperature is incorporated into a separating wall 30, dividing discharging liquid in a first liquid flow passage 14 and foamable liquid in a second liquid flow passage 16. According to this method, liquid in respective liquid flow passages, which are contacted with the heat generating body 63 for regulating temperature, can be heated directly and simultaneously while temperature regulation can be effected by obtaining an output duty in accordance with a temperature by changing the output of time average with the rate of times of ON, OFF.
