PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately position an actuator at a target position at all times by detecting a real current value more accurately. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a solenoid coil 11 to position an actuator depending on supplied current, a current adjustment means 15 to change the current fed to the solenoid coil 11 depending on the duty ratio of control signals, a current detection means 16 to detect the current fed to the solenoid coil 11, and a control part 18 to calculate the real current (IDi ) of the solenoid coil 11 on the basis of signals outputted from the current detection means 16 and set the duty ratio (Φi ) of the control signals for the real current (IDi ) to near the preset target current value (IOi ). The control part 18 calculates the real current of the solenoid coil 11 on the basis of the minimum value (In1 ) and the maximum value (In2 ) of current flowing across the solenoid coil 11 obtainable from the output of the current detection means 16 at the concerned duty ratio.
