BLACK-COLORED POLYESTER FIBER FABRIC AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a black-colored polyester-based fiber fabric hardly causing lowering of fastness and whitening due to abrasion, having various hues and rich in elegance and provide its production. SOLUTION: This fabric is composed of a polyester-based fiber in which both of pigment and disperse dye are contained and the fiber is composed of a pigment-dyed fiber. This method for producing the fabric comprises dyeing a fabric composed of the pigment-dyed polyester-based fiber obtained by mixing and dispersing pigment particles into a polyester-based polymer with a disperse dye and specifically comprises dissolving or decomposing a sheath component into a fabric comprising a core-sheath type conjugated fiber whose core component is a polyester containing a pigment and whose sheath component is composed of a polymer not containing pigment capable of readily being removed by dissolution or decomposition to remove the sheath component and then dyeing the fabric with a disperse dye.
