PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for opening and closing a curtain which is of a small size and simple in construction and can be applied to a curved curtain rail. SOLUTION: In the device for opening and closing a curtain, a first movable body 5 is slidably fitted on a cylinder rail 3 disposed along a curtain rail. A second movable body 6, which is associated with the body 5 by magnetic forces, is slidably accommodated in the rail 3. An end of the rail 3 is connected to a solenoid valve 14 through speed controllers 15, 16. The valve 14 connects the interior of the rail 3 with the atmosphere through a silencer 20 or connects the interior of the rail 3 with a compressor 22 through a filter 21. The compressor 22 and solenoid valve 14 are actuated and controlled by a CPU 23. |
