PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which optimizes a switching current which is applied to an inductive load, by combining a regeneration current and a commutation current. SOLUTION: When switching currents are applied to inductive loads LA, LB by H bridge circuits 4A, 4B, current supply operation is started according to the driving period of a specified frequency, and the currents applied to the inductive loads LA, LB are increased by control circuits 3A, 3B and a timing signal generator 7. In the case that the currents are decreased, power source regeneration operation is performed during power source regeneration period, and commutation operation is performed during commutation period. Balance of power source regeneration operation and commutation operation is improved, and high frequency driving is possible by a switching current of little ripple. In the case that the switching current level is decreased, the power source regeneration operation is performed for a long term, quick decrease down to a desired level is possible. |
