<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with the preparation of various kinds of joint pipes differed in dimension, and make a piping work convenient by expansively and contractively deforming one joint pipe within a prescribed dimensional range without preparing plural kinds of joint pipes, and connecting the joint pipe between objects to be connected to perform the piping. SOLUTION: A joint pipe body 1 has a number of annular mount parts and valley parts alternately continued over the whole length so as to be expansible and contractible, and constituted in such a manner that the deformed state can be kept even when an axial external force is removed, when expansively and contractively deformed by addition of the external force. In order to ensure the expanding and contracting quantity of the joint pipe body 1, the mountain parts 2 are formed relatively high. Since one joint pipe 14 is properly expansively and contractively deformed according to the distance between objects to be connected to connect the objects in this way, preparation of various kinds of joint pipes differed in dimension is dispensed with, and this joint pipe 14 is simply prepared, whereby it is widely applicable to various distances between objects to be connected.</p> |
