PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a non woven fabric useful for a filter, etc., excellent in water repellence, chemical resistance and durability. SOLUTION: Any one of PTFE, PFA and FEP is subjected to melt spinning to give a fluororesin monofilament having 1-10 deniers. The fluororesin monofilament is cut into proper length to give fluororesin monofilament fibers 3. The fluororesin monofilament fibers 3 are mixed with low-melting monofilament fibers 4 for bonding into a lump. The lump is pressed while heating at a temperature higher than the low-melting resin monofilament fibers 4, the low-melting resin monofilament fibers are melted to bond 4a the fluororesin monofilament fibers 3 to form a nonwoven fabric. |
