<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide voice recording and reproducing method of facsimile equipment which is unaffected by the capacity of a memory for sound recording and holds messages even when powered off. SOLUTION: Facsimile equipment which has an automatic answering function is so constituted as to print 22 voice data obtained by digitally converting 24 and compressing a voice signal received through a communication line on a recording form, in the form of a bar code shape corresponding to its 0's and 1's, reading the voice data printed on the recording form out and storing them in the memory 12, and restore and reproduce the voice signal from the read voice data. Those processes are controlled by a CPU 10.</p> |
