摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a knob structure that a sense of manual type gripping is securable by making the knob of a shift operating lever for an automatic transmission miniaturizable. SOLUTION: A sleeve 10 at the upper end of a position pin operating rod 9 is made up into a plane T-shaped form, while its projection 10b is stored in a slit 12 formed on and end wall 7 of a cam groove 6 of a push button 5, and the sleeve 10 and the end wall 7 are lapped with each other and thus they are set up there, whereby the cam groove 6 is formable to be shorter as long as merely length making a base 10a of the sleeve 10 storable, so that the push button 5 is reducible as small as possible, and thus miniaturization of a knob 2 is realizable by narrowing a longitudinal size of this knob 2.
