Air cushion for use on bicycle saddle

The cushion is in the shape of a bicycle saddle and is made from two rubber sheets which are vulcanised together leaving a number of air pockets (A). The pockets are inter-connected by channels (B). The channels are connected by a hose to a ball-pump which is squeezed to inflate the cushion. The pump incorporates a release valve with which the cushion can be deflated or to regulate the air pressure in the cushion. The air cushion takes up the shape of the cyclists bottom due to his weight.
