PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry a sorter to a necessary place and to operate the sorter by providing the sorter with a conveyor which houses a magnet roller in a cylindrical roller at a terminal and making the sorter itself movable by means of wheels. SOLUTION: The magnetic materials attracted by a magnetic material removing conveyor 4 fall in the position where there are no more magnets 11. These materials are guided by a guide path 13 and are housed in a container 8 for steels. Aluminum cans are driven by the high-speed rotation of the magnet roller 5b, are jumped out of the terminal of the main conveyor 2 and are brought into collision against a curtain-like buffer body 6 and are housed in a lower container 10 for aluminum. On the other hand, bottles, plastic containers, etc., are dropped down from the terminal and are housed in a container 9 for nonmetals. When any of the container 8 for steels, the container 9 for nonmetals or the container 10 for aluminum is packed full, the full packing is optically detected by a full detecting sensor 12 and is announced by an alarm to a user. Further, the aluminum sorter itself has the wheels 7 and may be operated by carrying the sorter to the necessary place. |
