FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: mining support is intended for mechanization of mining operations, particularly, in winning coal. Support has cover, base, hydraulic posts, stabilizing system and guiding system in the form of two three-dimensional hinged quadrangles connected together by intermediate angles, and coordinating tie-rods. These coordinating tie-rods are installed for possible turning with cover and base preferably in hinges of connections of front tie-rods with cover and base by their one ends, and by other ends - for possible turning by means of connecting member which is installed in longitudinal guide components of intermediate member. Axis of guide components is parallel to base. Coordinating tie-rods create acute angles with front tie-rods. Hydraulic posts are located vertically in relation to base plane or they are inclined in relation to work face and they are secured on base at gobbing side against plane which limits space of passage for people at side of stabilizing and guiding systems. Centers of holes for pinned joints in intermediate members are located in tops of isosceles triangle or isosceles trapezium. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 cl, 2 dwgl
