摘要

FIELD: shipbuilding; propellers of high-speed ships. SUBSTANCE: rotary propeller is provided with 10-20 blades smoothly mounted over periphery at an angle of 3-20 deg relative to rim. Blades have triangular form in plan with sharp leading edge and blunt trailing edge. Vertex of angle formed by sharp edges is directed towards side of rotation of rotor. EFFECT: reduced resistance to motion of ship and imparting her amphibian properties due to simultaneously obtaining tractive and lifting forces. 4 dwgd
