SUBSTANCE: device for forming laminated material relative to profiled edge of core has heating unit 2 mounted on rotary frame 5 and flexible sheet 3 positioned on frame 13. Method involves connecting laminated material with flat surface of core so that portion of material overlaps core edge; positioning core on open front vertical face side of device so that material is arranged between front face side and core and overlapped portion projecting upward; turning heating unit 2 to face side of overlapped portion and heating it to predetermined temperature; turning heating unit 2 to the initial position and turning sheet 3 through positions A-D, with sheet 3 being free of tightening at position A and being tightened at position B to come into contact with overlapped portion. While moving through positions C and D, sheet 3 biases overlapped portion to core edge and forms it relative to this edge. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified method. 17 cl, 8 dwgr
