PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a semiconductor device by which the semiconductor device is designed and manufactured in a short time. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the semiconductor device comprises selecting a template having the display of a separate circuit block and an expression for relating the performance parameter of the circuit block with the electric parameter of the component of the circuit block from a library, selecting the desired value of the performance parameter of the circuit block, substituting the desired value of the performance parameter to the expression so as to constitute the design of the semiconductor device, solving the expression with respect to the electric parameter to calculate the value of the electric parameter for realizing the desired value of the performance parameter and operating based on the design of the semiconductor device.
