FIELD: metallurgy, design of converters with bottom blast. SUBSTANCE: sealing in the form of ring from rubber or fluoroplastic tube with internal lateral partition is arranged between body of converter and casing of separable bottom over entire perimeter of their contact. Inlet is located immediately adjacent to it on one side and outlet of blast line of converter is situated on other side. EFFECT: prevention of nonproductive leaks of inert gas supplied for blasting and of metal. 2 dwg
