FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: allotransplant is used for iris prosthesis at complete or partial both inherited and also traumatic aniridia with simultaneous correction of refraction disorders. Allotransplant for iris prosthesis has a transparent optical part, nontransparent haptic part and openings in haptic part. Both optic and haptic parts are designed as a unit by interpenetrating of polymeric nets of materials. The shape of haptic part coincides with shape and sizes according to the shape of iris shape. At the same time allotransplant is made of collagen co-polymer together with monomers of acrylic and vinylic lines. EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
