Container for two ingredients, that are held separately but have to be mixed prior to use, comprises two separate compartments (A, B) for the ingredients and a stopper (40) to isolate them from one another. The stopper is opened by lateral pressure applied to the second compartment (4) at right angles to its axis (X). The pressure to open the stopper is applied through a diamond-shaped flexible element (E) inside the second compartment that extends lengthwise when compressed to separate the stopper from its surround and provide a space for the product to pass through. The second compartment (4) is in the form of an extruded tube made from a high density polyethylene, polyethylene vinyl alcohol, high density polyethylene trimer complex.
