A decubitus preventive article can be mounted to and fixed to a trunk and lumbar buttocks so as to prevent a cushion from getting out of position when a person wearing it moves. Concretely, a diaper cover type supporter body (1) and a cushion (2) mounted thereto are formed. The cushion is formed to protect the sacral region, greater trochanter region and the ilium region where decubitus often occurs. With the arrangement, the decubitus preventive supporter is securedly fixed in use to the lumbar buttocks at three points like a diaper cover. Such arrangement prevents the cushion from getting out of position when a person wearing the supporter moves in sleep, so that it is possible to completely protect a region where decubitus is liable to occur. Accordingly, a person can move in rehabilitation or the like while wearing the decubitus preventive article, and the decubitus preventive article can be widely used both by bed-ridden persons and persons who can move. |
