A holder for information, advertising, etc., for being fastened at the top of a wall which defines a basket or box of a shopping or luggage trolley, which holder comprises a plate and/or frame (1) and means (3) for being fastened to the wall. The holder is adapted for being fastened to the front wall of the basket or box, whereby the plate and/or the frame (1) and the fastening means (3) are connected through a hinge connection (4), in order to permit that the plate and/or the frame can be pivoted downwardly and, by partly pushing of the trolley into a corresponding trolley, can pass below a handle and an upper limitation of the rear wall of the basket or box, whereby this rear wall in a known manner can be pivoted inwardly about an upper pivot axis. The hinge connection (4) is biased when the plate and/or frame (1) has been pivoted downwardly, whereby the plate and/or frame (1) tend to reestablish an upright position.
