<p>The invention concerns a method for making a tubular capsule comprising a fibre (11) having a wall defining internal compartments (11b) isolated from one another, the wall being made from a solution of at least one polymer and the compartments (11b) being filled with a biologically active medium. The method consists in the following steps: co-extruding the solution of at least one polymer and the biologically active medium by simultaneous injection of the polymer solution and the biologically active medium in a die (7) with set dimensions; interrupting at set time intervals the injection of the biologically active medium to provide in the fibre (11) successive compartments (11b) filled with the biologically active medium and separated by a solid intermediate section (11a) only made of the polymer solution; immersing the fibre (11) in the coagulating liquid as it comes out of the die (7) so as to start a precocious coagulation in the polymer solution outside the fibre; and simultaneously driving the fibre (11) in the coagulating liquid along a set path.</p> |
