Equipment for three-dimensional X-ray shadow microscopy
摘要
The equipment uses a fine beam of electrons focused on a metal foil to form a point source of X-rays. Behind the metal foil is an object to be investigated and behind the object is an X-ray image amplifier which amplifies the incident X-rays that have passed through the object and these are then used with a digital video camera or a sensor matrix in which the X-rays are converted to electric signals and digitised. The image is displayed on a PC monitor. To obtain 3D images the object is rotated between the X-ray point source and the amplifier and a number of images are taken so that a spatial image of the object can be built up by the computer.
