<p>The invention relates to a container for keeping and storing Compact Discs or similar disc-shaped record carriers. The container comprises first and second box-shaped halves together forming a divided box in the size of a disc, and a central tongue-shaped holder part on which the disc is held in position by flexible retainers. The first and second box-shaped parts are connected to the holder part by pins at the rear end of the holder part. The pins functions as hinges and allows the box-shaped halves to swing open sideways and thereby expose the disc held by the holder part. A plurality of containers may be stacked on a vertical pole to form a storage rack, wherein each container may be separately rotated around the pole.</p> |
