The therapy lamp has a light box containing at least four daylight lamps (2) which the patient looks directly into. Groove shaped mirror reflectors (3) are arranged behind and parallel to the longitudinal axis of the lamps. The reflectors preferably have a parabolic cross-section with a focal point in the middle of the lamps. The reflectors and the lamp housings (1) have slits (4) at the back. The lamps and the reflectors are covered by a light, simple, clear glass pane (5). The background is thus lit up through the slits in the reflectors and the lamp housings. The glass pane spreads out the light. The lamp current is electronically and physiologically controlled.
