PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facility monitoring device enabling the communication with an engineer in a remote place in facilities at low cost. SOLUTION: A central monitoring device judges whether an abnormality occurs in equipment to be monitored or not based on a condition of the equipment to be monitored inputted from a remote input and output device through a wire transmission path and sends alarm informing data to the wire transmission path if the abnormality occurs. A radio transmission part sends the alarm informing data from the central monitoring device to the surroundings by radio transmission using weak radio waves, and a terminal unit receiving the data informs the engineer of the alarm information. The engineer inputs alarm confirmation data into the terminal unit based on the alarm information. This alarm confirmation data is sent to the central monitoring device through the radio transmission part and the wire transmission path. Consequently, the alarm informing data and the alarm confirmation data can be transmitted and received without providing an exclusive transmission path. |
