METHOD FOR SURROGATE COLLECTION OF BILL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the surrogate collection of bills facilitating the procedure of purchasing merchandise, while imposing communication charges to allow immediate settlements. SOLUTION: A sales management server 20 registers the information entered by a customer and transmits the number of the customer's telephone terminal and merchandise bill information to a communication control device 30. The communication control device 30 in turn dispenses an unused settlement-oriented telephone number and transmits it to a personal computer 10 via the server 20 to display the settlement-oriented telephone number. The telephone terminal transmits the settlement-oriented telephone number dialed and the number of the customer's telephone terminal to a telephone switchboard 60. The telephone switchboard 60 transmits the settlement-oriented telephone number and the number of the telephone terminal 40 to the communication control device 30, which in turn authenticates the customer with the settlement-oriented telephone number and the number of the telephone terminal; if the customer is authenticated, the number of the telephone terminal and the merchandise bill information are transmitted to a billing system 50 for a settlement.
