A hand tool accessory holder is disclosed. The invention includes a body (12) and a plurality of protrusions (14). The body (12) has an open end (16) which fits over the handle (18) of a hand tool and the protrusions (14) are situated toward the closed end thereof. The protrusions (14) extend radially from the body (12) and are designed to approximate the size and shape of the drive or drive socket coupling (22) of the hand tool, thereby allowing the accessory attachments (20) to be received and supported by these protrusions (14), thus providing convenient and visible access to the accessory attachments (20). The invention is made of a pliable material such as rubber or plastic which allows minor deformation of the material and also a high coefficient of friction between these parts, so as to secure the tool accessories (20) yet allowing easy retrieval by the user of same. The invention has a additional function of a hand grip thereby increasing the comfort of the use of the tool. |
