PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-line shopping system including goods not available depending upon the region, in which each user can search goods selectively between purchasable items and not purchasable. SOLUTION: Goods are grouped into a first group of items requiring constructing works for installation, a second group of items requiring installing operations, and a third group of items to manage only with delivery, and purchasable group are stored in a database 16 region by region (postal code). Upon confirming which category the item desired belongs to, the user enters the postal code whereto the item should be delivered. A server 14 searches purchasable group on the basis of the postal code and displays the characteristics of the region which the user has specified (construction works requiring area, installing operations requiring area, etc.), and also 'purchasable/ unpurchasable' of items for each group. |
