<p>Electric fishing gear comprising one or more elongate cables (12a, 12b, ...) each having a number of conductors (44a, 44b) which are insulated from one another and run within a watertight and insulating sheath (42), and a number, corresponding to the number of conductors, of electrodes. These electrodes are fastened within or to the sheath (42) in such a way that part of the surface thereof during operation is in contact with water. Each electrode is connected to one of the conductors (44) run through the sheath (42) for that purpose. Each electrode is formed by a fixed electrode section which is embedded in the sheath and is connected to the respective conductor, and a detachable electrode section (30) which, by means of suitable fastening means (48), can be fastened electrically conductively to the fixed electrode section in such a way that part of the surface of the detachable electrode section (30) during operation is in contact with water.</p> |
