Pipe socket with rolled threads

The pipe socket formed from blanks or raw material should have refined surfaces or surfaces protected against corrosion so that the protection or refinement are unaffected by the pressure-rolling of the inner or outer socket threads. In this pressure-rolling stage, all other connections such as sealing surfaces or reduction for the rolling operation or placement-welding etc are formed as part of the socket finish.
