Chassis for high-speed rail-borne train

The high-speed train chassis has each of the wheels provided with a number of hollow spaces which are filled with a freely movable weighting mass, e.g. steel balls, or sand, for damping the vibration originating at the point of contact between the wheel and the track. Alternatively the wheel itself is made of a material with a molecular structure which provides the vibration damping, which is effective for the primary vibration frequency and the resonance frequencies.
