The free end (12) of the sack is passed through the ring (10) and then round it. The two are then inserted in a mating locking member (22), which is undercut on the inside. The ring can be placed on a frame with a peripheral outer groove accommodating it, and the ring can protrude beyond the frame on the outside. The ring can be of round or rectangular cross-section and of plastic, and the undercut can have a coating of glue.
