PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal module in which a folding process is easily conducted when folding a flexible board onto the back surface of a holder and storing the board within a prescribed size, the board can be compactly stored within the prescribed size and which can promote the deduction of the size and thickness required for electric equipment such as a portable telephone. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal module, a liquid crystal panel 1, in which the edge sections of the longitudinal and lateral sides of the board are connected to a flexible board 2 in an electrically conductive manner, is stored in a storage recessed portion 11 formed on a synthetic resin holder 4. A first edge side board surface 2R of the board 2 and a second edge side board surface 2D are successively folded onto the back side of the holder 4 in order to store the above into the case of an equipment such as a portable telephone. An opening 2c is provided to a portion corresponding to the corner of the panel 1 on the board 2 and a recessed section 12 is formed to the second side of the holder 4. The section 12 has lock pawls 13 to lock/store the middle section of the surface 2R of the board 2 which is folded onto the rear surface of the holder 4.
