PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding door functioning as fire doors. SOLUTION: A sealant 40 is vertically rotatably provided below the upper rail 220 of a door frame and a first magnet 41 is installed in the sealant 40. A rotating cylinder 30 is rotatably provided at the upper end of the large door 120 of the folding doors and is connected via a link 12 to the auxiliary arm 10 of an electric drive and a second magnet 32 and a third magnet 33 are provided in circumferentially aligned relationship on the rotating cylinder 30. When the folding doors are fully closed, the sealant 40 is lowered by its own weight and rotated and sealing rubber 44 makes intimate contact with the upper surfaces of the folding doors, with the first magnet 41 and the second magnet 32 opposing and attracting each other. When the auxiliary arm 10 moves in the opening direction, the rotating cylinder 30 is pulled by the link 12 and rotated and the first magnet 41 and the third magnet 33 oppose each other producing a repulsive force whereby the sealant 40 is rotated upwards.
