PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing which is manufactured at a low cost by holding down frictional force with a shaft during starting-up. SOLUTION: Particles of tin and iron are mixed to provide an iron-series metallic powder 31, and particles of tin and copper are mixed to provide copper- series metallic powder 32. An outer peripheral portion 21 is compressively formed with the iron-series metallic powder 31, and an inner peripheral surface 22 and end portion 23 are compressively formed with the mixed copper-series metallic powder 32. The formed compressively formed powder body is sintered accordingly. Thus, after coining of the sintered forming body is completed, an oil impregnated sintered bearing 15 is manufactured by impregnating lubricant into the parts of copper-series and iron-series metal which has become the porous material through the preceding sintering operation.
