PURPOSE:To color print images of various densities clearly, and stably with high resolution by incorporating specific surface smoothness in a sheet composed by incorporating mixture of specific light calcium carbonate powder and wooden pulp as a main ingredient. CONSTITUTION:A sheetlike material is composed by incorporating mixture of 1-40wt.% of light calcium carbonate and the balance of wooden pulp as a main ingredient. The carbonate powder is made of many melted secondary particles of hexagonal crystal calcite unit particle. As the particle, that containing 0.7-1.3mum of weight mean particle size and 18-24m<2>/g of specific surface area by a BET method is used, and at least one of the sheetlike material has 200sec or more of Becke's smoothness. Thus, heat transfer printing having excellent image visibility, ink transfer properties, dot size, density, uniformity and high resolution can be performed. |
