PURPOSE:To easily obtain a bright ultrasonic diagnostic image without giving pains to a patient by narrowing the width of the ultrasonic vibrator transducer and reducing the width of the contact part with a human body. CONSTITUTION:The electrical connection to a conductor 18 for supplying an electric signal is executed by using a conductive adhesive 19 at the section in the thickness direction of a grounding electrode 12 provided on the front surface of the ultrasonic vibrator transducer 11. As a result, a dead space which does not generate the ultrasonic waves of the ultrasonic vibrator transducer 1 is reduced to narrow the width at the front end as the ultrasonic vibrator transducer. An equally good alternative is to provide the grounding electrode 12 with a conductor thicker than this electrode and to connect the conductor 18 at the section of this conductor. |
