PURPOSE:To obtain a small elevator device, in which the maintenance work on the cage is facilitated. CONSTITUTION:A cage 6 is provided in a hoistway 1, and a control box 10 is installed to the upper part of the outside of the cage 6 so as to be projected from the edge of the cage 6 toward the wall of the hoistway 1. Narrowness of a space for the maintenance work on the top surface of a ceiling of the cage 1 is thereby eliminated to facilitate the maintenance work. |
