The fastener has flexible binding rods (2) or tubes so that a cover beading (1) can if necessary hold a curved page retainer with the help of the rods in the required position. The cover beading (1) strip has two or more opening slots which can be opened and closed by leverage of the extension (4) . By operation of the extension, the opening to the groove can be widened and by release of the extension or operation in the opposite direction, the slot can be can be reclosed. The slot can be enlarged in cross section with respect to its opening.
