摘要 <p>The spectrometer comprises a spectrometer lens, which has an objective end, an image plane end and a central axis and contains multiple lenses, with individual ones of the lenses being located at selected positions along the central axis. A light slitter receives light incident on one side and passes a narrow slice of that incident light to the other side. A telescopic imaging lens focuses an image of light at the light slitter. A mirror is provided and is disposed to one side of the light slitter for receiving the narrow slice of incident light from the light slitter and reflects the narrow slice into the image plane end of the spectrometer lens. The spectrometer lens collimates the narrow slice and issues the narrow slice from the objective end. A diffraction grating is disposed at the objective end of the spectrometer lens for receiving collimated light and reflects spectrally dispersed spectral lines of that light into the objective end. An image plane is disposed behind the image plane end of the spectrometer lens system and to one side of the mirror for receiving spatially arranged straight spectral lines issuing from the image plane end of the spectrometer lens. An image pick up device images a two dimensional area at the image plane, and is positioned at the image plane to individually detect the illumination intensity of multiple portions of the length of each straight spectral line present at the image plane. The image pick up device comprises an electronic camera, which includes a two dimensional photosensitive surface for receiving images of light and outputs information in electronic form. The photosensitive surface is positioned at the image plane.</p>
