Hazardous gas mixing apparatus with rake for dislodging conduit deposits

The device comprises hazardous gas conduit structure in the chamber and includes an end plate. A rake is supported for rectilinear travel in the conduit structure and has a perimetrical edge proximate an internal wall surface of the conduit structure for cleaning the conduit structure. The rake has a static rest position adjacent the end plate. An actuator imparts movement to the rake to remove hazardous gas deposits from the internal wall surface of the conduit structure. A rake control system automatically actuates the actuator at timed intervals to impart movement to the rake. The rake defines an opening through which a hazardous gas may pass, and the hazardous gas conduit structure includes a projection on the end plate for insertion into the opening in the rake to remove accumulated deposits in it to ensure the passage of hazardous gas through the rake defined opening during rake travel through the hazardous gas conduit structure.
