t is disclosed herein a cylindrical flexible gas conduit used for the transport of hot or cool gases and composed of a spiral wire framework and a foamed polyethylene insulation layer, both interposed between the inner and outer sheet of the gas conduit, which sheets are made of polyester or aluminium. Compared to flexible gas conduits provided with glass wool insulation means, the described herein flexible gas conduit, which is characterized by 100 to 500 mm caliber and polyethylene inside insulation, is lighter and easier for installation, and exhibits better flexibility and equivalent insulation abilities. The non-liquefaction of the environmental air humidity at the outer walls of said gas conduit is a significant advantage for the invention. These characteristics make said gas conduit be suitable for heating and cooling installations as well as for any other application of separate or non-flexible gas conduits. |
