<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce space and equipment for storing works to enhance the utilizing efficiency of the space and to reduce equipment cost at the same time and to further reduce the running cost of a drying furnace. SOLUTION: A work W sent from a previous process is hung to each of the hangers H of an overhead conveyor 2 at an banging position P1 to be pretreated and coated and this work is transferred to the truck T of a floor conveyor 9 at a transfer position P2 to be dried and the dried work W is again transferred to the overhead conveyor 2 at re-transfer position and detached from each hanger H at a unloading position P4 to be fed to a next process. When the feed lines between respective processes are stopped, the pretreatment, coating and drying of all of works W during transportation by the respective conveyors 2, 9 are completed and, thereafter, a required number of preceding works W are re-transferred to the hangers H transferred to the circulating track 3 of the overhead conveyor 2 to be stored on a first storage track 13 and the succeeding works W are stored on a second storage track 14 in the state placed on the track of the floor conveyor 9.</p> |
