PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To navigate data which renders itself to a special reproduction, by searching other data units while referring to the addresses of search information. SOLUTION: A navigation pack including navigation data are arranged at the leading position in each data unit. Succeeding the unit, plural data packs are arranged. These packs are made by coding and packing and the reproducing data including any one of audio, video and subvideo data. In the navigation pack, inclusion is made for the search information in which the addresses of the data units that are search objects to be continuously reproduced in the front or the back of the address of the data unit including the navigation pack as a reference. Then, during a retrieval, other data units are searched while referring to the addresses of the search information.
