PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep an amount of contact between an electrostatic latent image holding body and a developing roller to be constant by preventing excess toner from adhering to a position which controls the amount of contact. SOLUTION: Large diameter sections 21e and 21f having outside diameters larger than the outside diameter of an image forming region 21d are formed on both end portions of a conductive supporter of a photosensitive drum 21, controlling rollers 29d and 29e which abut on the large diameter section of the photosensitive drum, respectively, are fixed on a shaft 29a of a developing roller 29, and an amount of contact between the photosensitive drum and the developing roller is regulated by making contact between the large diameter sections and the control rollers. Since the large diameter sections are thus provided, the amount of contact between the photosensitive drum and the developing roller is always kept constant, and excess toner does not adhere to the contact parts between the large diameter sections and the control rollers. |
