PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a sheet-shaped positive electrode with no generation of cracks in a coating film and no peeling off of the coating film from a conductive substrate and provide a battery with high capacity by using the fine powder of polytetrafluoroethylene as a binder. SOLUTION: A coating material for forming a coating film of a sheet-shaped positive electrode 1 is prepared in such a way that polyvinyl butyral is dissolved in a mixed solvent of cyclohexanone and toluene to prepare a viscous solution, the fine powder of polytetrafluoroethylene is added to the viscous solution to prepare polytetrafluoroethylene-containing viscous solution, then the polytetrafluoroethylene-containing viscous solution, lithium nickel oxide, flake graphite, polyethylene glycol, and as an additional solvent, a mixture of cyclohexanone and toluene are mixed and stirred. By using the fine powder of polytetrafluoroethylene as a binder, generation of cracks in the coating film and peeling off of the coating film from a substrate are prevented, and a battery with high capacity is obtained. |
